Jo Eliason, of The Public Catering Co, has been making award-winning gelato, handmade here in Taranaki, since 2006. She claimed three gold medals at the New Zealand Ice Cream Awards this year. So, it was time to let this secret out of the bag and introduce the incredibly delicious product to the spotlight … enter Creamy Jo’s, New Plymouth’s new gelato parlour!
Located next door to Public Catering (and just downstairs from us at Strategy Collective—so tempting!), Creamy Jo’s overlooks the tourist destination and selfie-Mecca that is the Len Lye Centre. So, it’s ideally located in the west end of New Plymouth’s CBD for summer foot traffic. As word gets out about the incredible gelato and the in-house chocolate fountains there’ll be many sticky hands and smiling faces on New Plymouth’s Queen Street.
In conjunction with the launch of Creamy Jo’s, Jo Eliason is also branding her gelato as Left Coast Gelato. Left Coast Gelato will initially be available through Creamy Jo’s and The Public Catering Company with plans for further growth (watch this space!).
