Brand Touchpoints:

Brand Strategy. Branding. Design. Photography. Video.

Mā Ake, Let’s Go.

Strategy Collective collaborated with the New Plymouth District Council’s Transport team to refine the “Let’s Go” logo.

10 years on from its inception, the “Let’s Go” brand required modernisation and refinement.

Strategy Collective initiated a discovery session with the NPDC team and various stakeholders, gaining insights into the numerous touchpoints that “Let’s Go” had within the community and its portfolio.

The primary objective was to promote active travel and collaborate with planners, engineers, and behavioural change specialists to educate, encourage, and develop initiatives for active travel.

With the logo design refined and the incorporation of Te Reo translation “Mā ake,” along with a colour refresh, “Let’s Go” was revitalised and ready to launch.

Adventurous Content Creation.

In addition to refining the logo, Strategy Collective aimed to provide the Let’s Go team with insights into how promoting active travel and alternative modes of transport could positively impact the lives of New Plymouth residents.

With the logo refreshed and the Let’s Go team’s goal to share the brand refresh while encouraging active travel, Strategy Collective proposed creating five short videos illustrating alternative transportation methods for commuting to work, school, and other destinations.

The aim was to showcase the uplifting experiences associated with choosing alternative modes of transport.

The videos feature cycling, walking, bus travel, and even mobility scooters to showcase diverse age groups.

Strategy Collective handled the entire video production process in-house, from scriptwriting and talent selection to location scouting, production planning, directing, filming, and post-production editing.

The videos resonated strongly with the target audience, achieving high engagement rates within the Let’s Go digital campaign. We effectively communicated the message of staying active while showcasing the refreshed brand.

“We ended up with a reshaped logo that is modern and fresh yet still recognisable, and we’re telling our story through five videos that are fun, surprising and engaging. I’m very proud of the results and thank Emily and the whole team at Strategy Collective for their professional and creative involvement. It was a great experience all round.”
