The Social Kitchen is a comfortable bistro that came to market presenting a fresh take on the concept of shared dining.
The identity was driven by a vibrant brand personality that was out to challenge the norm and the local perception of hospitality. The design brief was to balance a blatant embrace of meat and booze with a sophisticated and social dining experience. The brand was developed using a combination of illustration and collage, with a strong simple logo.
Situated in the former New Plymouth Salvation Army Citadel, the Social Kitchen’s cosy environment surrounds you with character and charm. The use of a Mibrasa charcoal oven allows our chefs the ability to cook with authenticity which retains the natural flavours.
